Pinnacle is a senior cohousing community in the making, based on a lakeside lodge in the resort of Lyme. Aiming to break ground for the cohousing project in late 2019, the group is well along the path to creating private homes and shared spaces that will help them live their dream.

They already own 120 acres on Post Pond, home to a long established hospitality business, Loch Lyme Lodge, which has a restaurant and kitchen, gardens, a lovely large barn and even clay tennis courts. Rustic cabins with fireplaces are sprinkled across the property. The property provides a vacation home to long-term guests including families who have been coming to Loch Lyme decade after decade. The cohousing will add tightly clustered year-round homes to complement the cabins.
